I am a singer and radio presenter who loves music, art & culture, which is why it’s been my life's work for over 20 years. Thanks for stopping by and feel free to connect!
More About Me...
At the age of 12, with friends from the church choir, I took part in local TV talent show, Rolling Good Times and won the Girl Groups category. Since then I've performed in musicals as part of the Singapore Repertory Theatre as well as festivals such the Gilles Peterson Worldwide Festival (France), Laneway Festival (Singapore), BIGSOUND (Australia), V-ROX (Russia) and Concrete & Grass Festival (China). I've released music on major labels such as Universal & the now defunct EMI, as well as on independent labels, Syndicate, Groove Note Records, Medallion Sounds. I also recently founded my imprint, Ownself Records.
Apart from music, supporting and contributing to my community has always been important to me. I've supported local creators as a radio DJ on commercial hit radio station, 987FM, from 2006-2010 and later as Programme Director of the now-defunct Lush 99.5FM, which was Singapore's only indie/electronic format dedicated to art. I have also been a mentor of the National Arts Council's Noise Music Mentorship programme since 2015.
